Sell and specify WIKA’s complete product portfolio and industrial services to Engineer, Procurement, Contractor (EPC) customers and their customer base. Responsible for developing account relationships, by cold calling, recurring customer contact, networking, and responding to customer inquiry. Position is heavily focused but not limited to EPC firms in the process and industrial markets. This includes expansion of current accounts and market development for new customers at a Regional level. 

EPC Sales Manager - Houston Area


  • Utilize available resources to maximize sales
    effectiveness (product specialists, factory support, market intelligence,
    project tracking websites, etc.)
  • Demonstrates technical selling skills and product knowledge
  • Develops annual business plan in conjunction with Regional VP of Sales
  • Complete understanding of pricing and proposal models
  • Coordinate with Corporate to develop  successful strategies for acquisition of new EPC customers and end users
  • Communicate and work with Territory Sales Manager to ensure WIKA products are specified in core markets at key end users
  • Interact with all levels of target EPC customers (sales, engineering, project management,executive management, etc.) 
  • Develops and maintains a project pipeline using CRM
  • Ensures task are completed and  company objectives met
  • Creates and conducts effective proposal presentations
  • Demonstrates the ability to gather and submit detailed business information in a clear and concise manner


  • Day to day activity driven toward project identification and specification of WIKA products
  • Maintain contact with key EPC clients in the Region to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Identify gaps in WIKA presence on Approved Manufacturer’s Lists (AMLs) within the Region and drive activities to address
  • Excel at working cross-functionally within WIKA
  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values. 


  • Knowledge of project work and EPC structure require
  • 4 year degree or equivalent work experience required
  • 5 years technical selling experience
  • Capable of learning and understanding CRM tool for projects
  • Industrial plant experience a plus
  • Industry knowledge (pressure instrumentation, industrial automation, process control, etc.) required, product knowledge a plus.
  • Assertive team player with positive attitude, high energy level
  • Strong problem solving ability, good negotiation and closing skills to
    drive sales.
